Booked a viewing for a property, they were not flexible at all made us come during rush hour. Called one minute before the viewing when we were at the door to say they 'attempted' to call to cancel when I had received no missed calls from them as they didn't have a key to access the property. No apology for wasting my time. Especially since we are not from Cambridge and travelled for the appointment. Very unprofessional

We are in the process of buying a new property and have dealt with probably all Cambridge agents. Tucker Gardner have been a total nightmare. They never answer their phones. They don't get back to emails or voicemails or messages through Rightmove. I've been trying to arrange a viewing from the minute a new property was advertised and I have been unsuccessful still days later. This is unacceptable especially in this market. I am glad I haven't worked with them when selling our properties. They are a total nightmare.

The worst estate agency I've ever encountered. Totally not responsive. When we moved out, I rang them up and told them we'd be leaving at the end of our tenancy agreement but the person on the phone didn't ask any questions (not even what the address was!) so I had to push all the information on her. I got the impression she hadn't made any notes so I also emailed the agency to summarise the phonecall but I never received a response.
After some chasing, I managed to get someone from the agency to submit a reference for the new property we were moving to. When we left the property we rang them on the day to say we were leaving, and we went to the agency and handed in the keys (to someone who didn't seem to know where the property was). We asked if there was anything else we needed to do because all the contact we'd had had been so dismissive, but he waved us away and said it was all fine and he'd handle it.
Two months later we get chased for not paying rent. on the property we had moved out of and made it as clear as possible we were moving out of. They said that they didn't know we'd moved out. Luckily I'd kept some email communication about this so I could prove that they really should have known, and it got sorted, but it was an awful amount of hassle.
Even if they're advertising a good property, I would avoid them. They are only going to cause problems for you. -March 2022 update- Furthermore, it took them three months to return our deposit and four months to refund an extra month of rent that had been taken during the moving-out process. We are now done with everything, but it was a ridiculously long period of time spend chasing them, filling out forms, raising complaints with external bodies, more chasing, etc. I still strongly advise anyone looking for a property to avoid renting one through Tucker Gardner.

We had an appointment viewing with your agent Drew Carolan. On the day, Drew opened a steel fence on the driveway but didn't settle it stable so it hit out car and case a dent. Drew Carolan said he will contact us to proceed insurance claim but he never disappeared ever since so does Tucker Gardener, please avoid this company if you can!

Tucker Gardner were managing a sale of a house I was buying. I can honestly say that from the day the offer was made they didn't do a single thing to make the process easier or quicker. On the contrary - they were actively delaying the transaction by blocking me from getting in contact with the seller, something both parties wanted. In 7 months (yes, it took 7 months) they didn't even bother to send an email with a status update.
When I complained, they finally called me back only to find out from me where the process was. Last time I checked it should be the other way around. I'll try my best to never have to deal with Tucker Gardner again.

Rented a property through these guys, they charged me an extra day (when i told them i moved out a month earlier than end of tenancy) and "lost" the record of some bills i paid. Supremely unscrupulous and unprofessional, if you must deal with them i would recommend thorough paper trails and perhaps a lawyer :P

It is infuriating to deal with the staff here. Constantly being told they will call you back, or email you. It never happens. When called, they are actively rude and unprofessional. It seems as if they will say whatever they can to end the call, and none of the employees talk to each other whatsoever. They will actively waste time and make false promises. Thankfully, after a few days of calls, I started taking names of the employees I was dealing with. Richard in particular is a sour individual and was thoroughly unpleasant to talk to.
One day, he assures me he will call me back in the next two hours. When I call back the next day, and he says AGAIN he will call me back. When I say that he has failed to do so before, so I have doubts he will now, he then has a tantrum. It would have been nice if he was capable of behaving as a professional and owning up to his original mistake. Instead he chose to double down and further embarrass himself and Tucker Gardner.
Perhaps when staff at this company say they will do something, it might be in their interests to actually do that. Instead of saying words at the time, and not worrying about what they mean, while repeatedly interrupting and being generally unpleasant. Instead of copy paste replies to these reviews, Tucker Gardner should perhaps actually make some changes to how they conduct themselves.
It is clear from every review site available that they can't complete even simple tasks, and they have been consistent over multiple years. Stay away from this company. They are aggressive, lazy and will only cause a headache.

Tucker Gardner had to cancel a viewing due to the tenant being ill (understandable, these things happen). When I asked to reschedule they said they couldn't on this call but would call back quickly to reschedule, this never happened and when I rang back several days later after no correspondence the flat had been let. Similarly I then tried to arrange a viewing for a second flat.
I was told the person who received my calls couldn't arrange viewings and that the team responsible for viewings would call me back imminently. Again this never happened and rather I found the advert for the flat taken down later (presumably let agreed).

Absolute joke of a company. Called 3 times in one day, with the people working there promising to call me, and send me and application. Neither happened. Called the next day, and was told that the last viewings for the property were that day, and the landlord required a meet (online meetings were apparently not an option, during a pandemic). There is no way for me to get there in time, and that crucial piece of information was never given the day before. Effectively lost my chance to get the place I wanted due to the incompetence and poor communication from Tucker Gardner.

Critical: Professionalism I found a property and Tucker Gardner get in touch with me. We schedule an enquiry for the day after. I arrived at the place, waited for some time and decided to call them. That's the cool part: the house WAS ALREADY RENTED. They have my number and email and did not send anything. It was very disrespectful.

My experience with Tucker Gardner has been second to none. They have been extremely helpful in my search to find a property and spent time listening to my needs, providing me with brochures for properties that suit my requirements. I'd advise anyone looking to sell/buy a property, to get in contact with this company. I have dealt with Ben, George and Eoin who have all been friendly and willing to help with any of my queries.

I am trying to make an offer on a property I just viewed but no one picked the call in their office after several attempts to ring, always a voicemail. I just looked at the reviews left on google few months ago and found I am not alone! After dealing with various estate agents in Cambridge, Tucker is definitely the worst one I have ever come across so far. The rest estate agents are all Super compared to them!
