Spencers

A bunch of liars and cheaters. I rented a property 16 snape close from them. 1) Anyone reading this the property has no insulation and gets extremely cold. 2) they misrepresented the fact that its a detached property and told us the garage was ours well infact it is owned by other people who come to do works every day ( this given the fact I was very particular that I was looking for a quite place considering I had final exams). 3) the landlord tried taking our entire deposit in the end when the property was left in the same condition with carpets cleaned and kitchen left clean.

Our only fault was that we left a bed and 2 chairs in the home and they tried to charge 120 pounds for this. 4) they tried to take our deposit for the reason they could not let it out easily to cover q months additional rent while it remained vacant. 5) stay away especially as they want to renovate the house from our deposit. Few months later now and justice prevails through adjudication

I hope if the system allows me, I could have given them less than 1 star. They called me 1st time telling that the vendor has accepted your offer via the auction after the highest bidder pulled out. Few minutes later they called again saying sorry we can't proceed with you because the other bidder changed his mind and wanted to carry on buying the property.

This is a very explicit example of unprofessionalism. They can't feel the negative psychological impact on me and my family when initially given a hope of buying my first home and in less than few minutes they have denied me that hope. In my opinion they didn't handle my case properly and they should work hard not to deny me the right to proceed buying the property.

Excellent, ten out of ten for Spencers finding a tenant for my rental property. Valuation, viewings and signing contracts all stress free. Kept me completely up to date at all stages. Would highly recommend.

My experience of Spencers has been second to none as tenant. Primarily, I've dealt with Sam Cable and Jessica Magnor. Both of them have been quick to respond, courteous, and a credit to the company. We've had a few years in a beautiful flat with fantastic service, and I'll be sad to leave their services when we move out this year. Keep it up guys.

I would like to thank Sam and his team for all their help and efforts in getting my property rented. After many months of the property sitting dormant whilst being marketed through another agent, Sam quickly arranged viewings and within 3 weeks had a tenant ready to move in. Nothing was too much trouble even when faced with a few problems and after this experience I will definitely be looking to do further business with Sam and Spencers Estate/Letting Agents in the very near future.

We had a 6 bedroom HMO to rent out. Sam and the team at Spencers have been great to work with. Good communication. They gradually let out all 6 bedrooms in our HMO. They also recommended a zero deposit scheme to help rent out two empty rooms. They did all the basics correctly. Great service.
