I sold my guesthouse in Torquay using Waycotts in August 2018. Both Martin and Clare were very professional. We anticipated the sale taking a few years, but we received an offer in a few months and completed within 8 months of putting it on the market. We encountered a few bumps on the way, with solicitors causing issues, but Martin was always there to reassure and ensure the process ran smoothly. I would absolutely recommend this agency. I advertised my property for sale with this agent in 2011. I sold the property myself in 2014 and because I signed his contract which states he is entitled to be paid their fees even if he does not sell the property and it doesn't matter how many years after you sell the property you still have to pay his fees. THIS IS NOT LIKE ANY OTHER AGENTS CONTRACT SO PLEASE BE AWARE OF WHAT YOU ARE SIGNING.
I really just want to let other people be aware of his contract as there is no way out of it once you have signed it. I am a property developer and buy and sell properties for a living and have never come across a contract like his.
