Critical: Professionalism, Quality I am never satisfied. Every day we have a different problem in the house they rented to us. They don't do anything they say they will do. I definitely do not recommend. We are extremely disappointed

Have been renting a flat for almost 4 years with them and have no complaints. Boiler issues were dealt with efficiently, deposit returned with no issues. Nev is friendly and professional, others might be a bit dismissive sometimes. All in all - decent agency.

Extremely unprofessional. I have my property listed and for sale and looking for a 4 bed in the N8 postcode so thought this agent to have local knowledge and walked in. There was about 8 people inside, not one of which was doing anything other than some office banter between the cleaner and a lady at the back. I stood in front of a man seated at the front desk who couldn't even be bothered to raise his head to acknowledge me.

After 30 seconds he looked up and I asked if I could speak to someone regarding sales. He asked me to sit down after eluding to himself being an appropriate staff member. Suddenly the phone rung, he picked it up and started a lengthy conversation with what was clearly not a member of the public as he was saying things like "They are not stupid. They have their own accountants" He carried on speaking very slowly with no urgency whatsoever and no consideration for myself.

After 5 mins of what was evidently going to be a lengthy conversationI interrupted to ask him if anyone else could help and he asked an older member of staff to look after me. This man was too busy playing with a toddler who was waiting on a chair and after what seemed to be a 20 second pause reluctantly beckoned me over to sit down. No thank you.

If that's the level of professionalism and care they are capable of, I would never trust them with the most important and stressful transaction of my life. Use your own judgement but better to avoid.

Star Lettings is the worst Letting agent and Landlords I can think of in this country. They do not care about the Tenants and the property. They do not repair the property. They abuse and threaten tenants to leave if asked for any repair work. The staff are very very very rude! Avoid this letting agent at any means! If there was any thing below 1 Star I will give them that. They do not deserve any Star at all.

A close friend seems to have quite a negative experience with the service. Would not be recommended unless a drastic service improvement. Would suggest reporting to Office of Fair Trading.

Star Estates took me on a number of viewings to buy my first buy to let property. I truly recommend their service. I will keep an eye out on their website for any other deals.

Hands on estate agent who did everything to ensure that the sale went through smoothly. The agent Liaised with our solicitors and vendors to ensure a quick sale. From viewing the property to completion - approx. 6 weeks High recommend Anthony J Jackson

Star Lettings need to seriously improve their services for existing clients, as it is extremely poor. Their response to clients' needs is very slow. I have been waiting for nearly a year now for them to undertake some work in the property. I have given up hope and decided that the only way I can express my feelings is to write a review. Hope it'll make them realise their mistakes and help them to treat their clients as humans.

I will wait for their response and if it's positive then I'll write a second review and might add more stars. But right now in my opinion star estate does not deserve any stars at all.

The worst and most unprofessional estate agents I have ever come across. The lettings agent, Nick is extremely rude and unhelpful. There were several issues with the house that we rented for a year- damp, leaks, problems with the boiler which took several months to resolve at any time. Avoid this company at all costs.
