Michael at Malcolms Estate Agent has been the most helpful letting agent I have ever dealt with (and I have moved multiple times around the UK for work). He has been helpful, prompt at responding to any and all of my enquiries, friendly and he has made renting through Malcolms a breeze. Honestly, couldn't rate him highly enough!

I would like to emphasise their professionalism and knowledge of house market, their kindness availability in every moment, providing the right advice in the right moment, they identify one of the best tenant I would expect and also the best strategy and time to set the house on the market, with impeccable trust they identified best the buyer with the most suitable credentials for such important and delicate asset, one important step considering that there is no legal binding for buyer until contract is not exchanged (a process that routinely take time). Moreover I really appreciated their patience to explain all the processes since I did not have experience in this business.

Thanks to Shannon and Dan at Malcolms for their efforts getting a BTL purchase through to completion. One of them was always available on the phone and when things got a bit sticky with a leasehold management company Dan was very quick to put additional pressure on them. The first offer we made was going through Malcoms. We were told not to touch the fixtures as it is pandemic and the agent was so impolite to keep say don't touch this and that eventhough we were not going to. To the seller, she was very polite to him, calling him Mr X Mr X.To us just keep social distancing and never show us anything. We behaved well and followed what she said.

We sent back the offer right away without any bargaining. We politely asked her if we could have some furniture included for not bargaining the price. We expected the answer no, however, we did not expect the answer, "if you want second hand furniture you can buy in the second hand furniture shops!" We are cash buyer. We are the one to pay for the whole things. However, we are getting beggar service.

We do not know what happened to that seller. He kept us in waiting for a month without giving his solicitor details. Malcoms, who has never updated us too. We kept asking Malcoms week by week, wasting our time. He said to us, "this is UK, it is not as efficient as other where, you need to wait". It's so frustrating and we behaved well like a child waiting for 1 month for nothing. At the end, we withdrawed the offer and gave up. We bought another home smoothly later on. We don't need follow up as we have already settled.

Dealt with Michael throughout our rental agreement/ post moving in. I can't say enough about his professionalism and great communication. He was always available to talk, and would deal with any issues/ paperwork required immediately to ensure the process was stress free our end. Thanks a lot Mike.
