After renting a property for a year and dealing with Cassidy & Tate, I unfortunately didn't have the best experience. Upon moving into the "professionally cleaned" flat, we found nothing but grime, dirt and faults. When reported to Cassidy & Tate, we were not offered any help or even an apology and instead a year down the line after moving out of the property, which was in pristine condition in comparison to what we moved into, had an email stating 565 of our deposit would be taken - 345 being cleaning.

After disputing this, we were offered a discount of 50 on the cleaning bill and had 75 removed for "snapped blind cords" which was in-fact already broken upon our move in - and stated in the original inventory! In addition to this, the figures of our deposit amount in the email were incorrect. I feel it is also appropriate to mention that while asleep in bed, our flat was entered illegally without our prior consent by an agent from Cassidy & Tate.

This agent at the time and throughout our dealings with her has been condescending and unprofessional. Out of good will, this wasn't taken any further but despite this, said agent continued to be unhelpful and caused a lot of distress to both of us during the move-out process. Overall, I would say (and am sorry to say) that there is a lack of compassion, care or professionalism within this estate agent as a whole.

We've had a fantastic experience with Michaela from Cassidy and Tate. She's so helpful and friendly and communication is always prompt. We're looking forward to continuing working with Michaela and the team! Thank you again!

In the current climate I was seriously impressed and so very grateful for this company's professional attitude, friendly and personal service. I've used Cassidy and Tate a couple of times in St Albans in my search for a house in the area. They were very informative, helpful and patient. I spoke to Stuart initially, and then one of the sales people - both of which were helpful and friendly. Even when I didn't go ahead, they were positive and offered advice on the area. Be very careful of this business. They use pressure tactics and do not act in a professional manner at all. This starts all the way from the top, with Stuart "The Con Man" Cassidy, who is a glorified used car salesman in his cheap suit with his old spice aftershave. Lies from start to finish and messes you around. Cassidy Tate is a prime example of why some people view estate agents as the scum of the earth. Also, just to make everyone aware, while they do force you to use their broker and solicitor, this is illegal under the estate agents act 1979. I have reported them and would encourage anyone else that they force to use their broker or solicitor to do the same.
