This company manages the property above my flat; there was a leak from the above flat which was dealt with im mediately; much communication & reassurance. And as if I couldn't be more impressed with this service, the decorator, Adrian, was very efficient, tidy & reliable doing a great job. Anyone who meets Adrian should also look at his photography as it is incredible! Thankyou Equity!

Update: Having posted a review, I appreciated that Tom spent the best part of 10 minutes speaking to me regarding the subject matter of my review below. Tom has promised to look into my communications directly with the lettings negotiator. It is clear that Tom is passionate about his business, and in fairness, took the time to understand the context and nature of the complaint I had.

Given our conversation, I have no reservations regarding Tom's, and by extension, Equity's integrity. Initial Review If you're in the process of home-hunt, and feel like being ignored, then this is your place to go. Letting agents that do not have any interest in responding to queries for potential lettings (even when emailing lettings negotiators directly), and this was only my most recent unpleasant experience with them.

In previous dealings with Equity, they have proven to be less than forthcoming; we had put in an offer on a tenancy, only to have the lettings negotiator be very evasive when checking progress. If you're a landlord or tenant, I would steer-clear.

I have rented through equity for the past 5 years and recently moved into another property through them, I can honestly say everything was dealt with professionally and quickly. A massive thank you to all the staff for being amazing and always providing great service!

My experience with Equity has been nothing but positive. The agents were very approachable and friendly, helping to make the moving in process quick and easy. The property was in perfect condition and staff were easy to contact if needed. This is a very considerate company who ensure the best is done for their customers - would highly recommend

Rented a flat in eastbourne for 4 years up till just last month. Equity were brilliant. Friendly staff and really quick responses to a few issues over the tenancy. Their modern web based reporting system is great and their contractors and agents always good at informing me as to what was happening. For someone who is hard of hearing the use of email by the managers was really handy.

Would recommend this company to anyone.really can't say enough good things about this company.in my experience quite possibly the best rental agents I have ever been a tenant through. Thanks guys!

I highly recommend Equity! I have been using Equity Residential letting services for 12 years now and cannot fault them on one thing. I live and work away (sometimes abroad) which means I am not always contactable or easy to get hold of; however, Equity have made letting my property so easy and hassle free - I cannot thank them enough. They are utmost professional, polite, honest, knowledgeable and have sound judgment enabling them to give sound advice which I have been able to rely upon; I trust them wholeheartedly.

They always return calls and reply to emails promptly. Their proactive ethos has meant that my property has never remained empty for long in-between tenancies - probably a month has been the longest in 12 years!.which has taken the financial pressure off. They have always found me good tenants too, which I have not had any issues with at all (not like I did when I rented privately in the past).

I feel Equity are unlike any other letting agents in that they have the best interests of both the landlord and the tenant, it is never one sided, and their expertise means they are excellent negotiators and somehow manage to keep both sides happy. They are first class agents!
