Services
With Home Sweet Home, sellers can choose to sell their property using the traditional method of estate agency, whereby you pay us a % based commission at the end of the process, after your sale has completed. When you instruct Home Sweet Home there is NO contract to sign, no lengthy tie-in period (which is nice to know) and you only every pay us after your sale has completed.
For Sales and Rental Properties, we can also organise your EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) for just 77 with no VAT. The EPC must be done within the first 28 days of marketing. An EPC is then valid for 10 years. The Energy Rating will be shown as part of our advertising on all the websites, sales particulars and our lettings window display. The APR is a compound interest rate figure used to compare different mortgages. Defined by law, it includes repayments on the loan plus any mortgage related fees such as booking, arrangement or basic valuation fees. The APR shows the true cost of borrowing over the entire term and should appear on all mortgage illustrations.
Before 2014 a 'slab structure' was in place with buyers paying a rate based on the ENTIRE property purchase price. The new rates are now payable only on the PORTION of a property price which falls within each band. As with every tax, there are those who will be better and worse off compared to the previous system.

Firstly, after fourteen years of renting and being part of Home Sweet Home, i'm sad to be leaving and saying goodbye. Steve, Matt and Emma, you have all been absolutely amazing, throughout my time with you. Always being so kind, helpful, professional, caring and understanding and so approachable.! We had a hell of an 11 month journey trying to buy our first home. until we met Steve, Matt and the team at HSH. I couldn't fault them one bit, they were everything the other local firms (I won't mention names) weren't. Honest, professional and most importantly down to earth. I'm hoping we won't be moving anytime soon but we will be straight onto Home Sweet Home if/when we do. I would also happily recommend them to any friends and family buying or selling a home. Steve and his team sold both my house and my partner's house for us in early 2017 and we couldn't be happier with, nor could we fault, the service we received. I had previously bought a house through Home Sweet Home in May 2013, so when it came to selling up again, I immediately thought of them as they'd been so brilliant previously.
