Single handedly the most unprofessional, disorganised, abrasive company let alone letting agent I've ever come across. Every single person who worked at the Chorlton branch we dealt with had absolute zero people skills and had very little interest in tenants needs. Stay absolutely well clear

Very disappointing. They have let the agent to leave a friend of mine live in property with condensation levels so high that bedding felt wet every night in the winter. On top of that they tried to blame the tenant for the mould and condensation that was pre-existing before they moved in. Emma Hatton also protected the greedy and unethical landlord who refused to reimburse the tenant properly for the 3 months that their property was not fit to live in. Letting agent came to see mould growth next to bed head he recommended not to sleep near it but the issue was not resolved.

They ignored the complaints even when it was worsening the tenants asthma and allergies. To fix the issue Emma Hatton provided a dehumidifier that had mould growing inside it. Additionally the staff aren't very nice the receptionist according to tenants and my friends were rude and would gets snappy even when answering basic questions. They have intimidated tenants in the past and overall a toxic environment. Slow and irresponsive to tenants, exhausting to deal with these estate agents, avoid at all costs

A friend moved into one of Emma Hatton's properties to find a preexisting mould and condensation issue, which the letting agents then tried to blame her for! One of the letting agents visited the property and saw a yellow and black mould growth near the bed head and recommended that she not sleep near it. However, he then failed to have the issue resolved for weeks! Emma Hatton then agreed to a reimbursement of almost 300 due to the inhabitable conditions nearly three months ago but still have not paid up! Absolutely shameful, and I would avoid at all costs.

Emma Hatton has repeatedly shown a lack of care for tenants' health and wellbeing, knowingly renting out property that is unfit for habitation and then refusing to do anything to fix the problem. On top of blaming clients for severe black mould and condensation problems that have been leaving tenants with serious medical problems, their letting agent Simon has a history of intimidating tenants who dare to ask questions about it.

Even if Emma Hatton has agreed to pay small amounts of compensation for renting out unliveable properties, they will refuse to actually make the payment, delaying small payments of under 300 while collecting many times that amount in rent. There are landlords up and down the country, many of which have fewer resources, that don't abandon their clients to live in black mould hotboxes for months on end, lease filthy properties during the height of the pandemic, and bully anyone complaining about it. I would recommend choosing one of these landlords capable of meeting their bare minimum responsibilities. Do not use a slumlord like Emma Hatton.

Tried to blame their tenant for a mould and condensation issue that existed before they moved in & left the tenant with condensation levels so high that their bedding and belongings felt wet every single day in the middle of winter, exacerbating their health issues. The tenant was provided with a dehumidifier that had mould growing inside it, to tackle a black mould and condensation issue (you couldn't make it up!) and was then issued unprofessional contractors to deal with serious mould issue - resulting in an ineffective resolution.

Slow and irresponsive to tenants, they still owe a 297 reimbursement that they agreed to months ago due to inhabitable conditions - avoid renting with this estate agent at all costs.

Awful reputation among renters in Manchester - they are slow and unresponsive to tenants suffering from serious issues such as having damp bedding and belongings due to rampant mould and condensation issues! They even tried to blame a tenant for the mould which had existed before they'd moved in. The team have been really rude to the tenant, unprofessional, providing no care or concern for tenants living with yellow/black slimy mould growing next to their bed.

Even once they'd agreed to give nearly 300 reimbursement for the issues the tenant is still waiting for it 3 months later. I'd avoid at all costs! Unresponsive, unprofessional and shoddy.

We letted a property through Emma Hatton & our Letting Agent, Simon, was fantastic - without him being the best correspondent between the landlord and us then our experience wouldn't have been the same. Nothing was too much trouble for him and would happily use Emma Hatton / Simon again. Thanks!

Do Not Use Emma Hatton! I am appalled by the treatment of one of their tenants. from blaming them for a mould and condensation issue that existed before they moved in, to then protecting their greedy landlord client, who refused to reimburse tenant properly for 3 months that their property was not fit to live in. Letting agent Simon came to see a yellow and black, slimy mould growth next to bed head in one of their rentals, his only recommendation being not to sleep near to it! Simon intimidated an Someone who went to talk to him about a former tenancy and forced her out of the office. Slow and reluctant to respond to valid needs of tenants, exhausting to deal with these estate agents, avoid at all costs.

Really shocked by Emma Hatton's treatment of one of their tenants. They were happy to provide a flat riddled with black mould and repeatedly failed to fix this issue. Not only this, but they also began to blame the tenant, despite the mould existing from the very start of the tenancy! It seems clear from this that Emma Hatton cannot be trusted to provide safe and habitable properties. I will be avoiding them at all costs.

Disgusted with Emma Hatton's treatment of tenants! Would not recommend renting with Emma Hatton, who show complete disregard for the health and wellbeing of their tenants and instead protecting neglectful landlords at all costs. Failed to address serious mould and damp and in their property. The problem got so bad that personal property was ruined and asthma of tenant was seriously aggravated.

Instead of responding to these signs of serious neglect, Emma Hatton actively blamed tenants for the mould and damp! At best, Emma Hatton staff are slow and unresponsive, and at worse Emma Hatton staff are rude and cruel. Avoid at all costs.
