JP & Brimelow is an independently owned organisation set up in the spring of 1998 by partners John Pratt and Nick Brimelow. Having both worked in corporate estate agency for many years in south Manchester they identified a need for a more personal service and set about opening offices in Didsbury and Withington and in March 2007 Chorlton.

So unprofessional and lacks communication. Had an appointment for a house viewing, rang their office as their agent was already 10 minutes late. The guy from the office told me that he don't think anyone is available and he will try to contact this certain guy and should be at the property ASAP. No body came and I was so disappointed I left after half an hour of waiting as I felt like I was just wasting my time. They could have contacted me earlier to cancel or reschedule my viewing. I didn't hear anything from them after, not a call back or email. So unprofessional.

Recently, a leaflet from JP & Brimelow came to our attention. This South Manchester estate agent suggested that COVID-19 may be a 'blessing in disguise' because house prices in the area are booming. As a result of the pandemic over 800,000 are in rent debt and facing eviction, and almost 100,000 have lost their lives.

Critical: Professionalism I offered a house on 205 old hall lane 431k. I have audio recording saved. they said it sold for such high offer that they were surprised. I offered upto 475k with all deposit and papers. something was going on with this house as months later when I looked up it sold price it as exactly 431k! were they telling the truth?

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS AGENCY I have had nothing but trouble with JP brimelow ever since the day I moved in. Conditions were not fulfilled, The house was not in a rentable condition when I moved in, some of the staff are unhelpful and patronising on the phone, and issues often took months to resolve. Also beware of the extortionate cleaning fees that come the end of the year.
