Louise Studley managed our tenancy on behalf of the landlord and was extremely helpful and responsive. We had a few issues throughout and after our tenancy and Louise was transparent, informative and knowledgeable - and in regular communication with us. Maggs & Allen surveyed a Grade II* listed Georgian residential building at my request and I couldn't be more satisfied with their report. Thorough, explained in lay terms, and had great recommendations of steps to go through before exchanging on the property. They also called to follow up-to explain anything I needed clarifying, and to provide some honest, impartial advice. I would highly recommend them, and use them again in a heartbeat.

Incredibly rude first contact staff. In such a difficult time to live in & the constant struggle to find basic human needs such as a roof over your head. The very least those facilitating than can do, is be kind & courteous.

My partner while attemtping to find a let within the Bristol area to maintain her job contacted this company regarding a property well within her monthly budget. She earns a living wage however when she enquired about offering for a property an unnamed female agent was intnesly rude claiming that she did not earn enough per month to rent the property and quote "why would you even bother" this is dreadfully unprofessional behaviour.

Her finances are stable and she can pay rent upfront but lazy letting agents have extortionate and unenforceable rules regarding income. I am exasperated by the state of letting within Bristol and the Maggs and Allen service has been another low light. This will be an issue I will be taking up with trading standards.

Thank you M&A team - I am really pleased with the way you handled sale of our house - your approach was efficient and honest and thoughtful and though I initially resisted the open house approach it was absolutely the right thing to do as it minimised disturbance especially while working from home in Covid. So thank you for persuading me. The sale was very smooth and fast and any potential problems were dealt with fast before they became issues.

Maggs and Allen just completed the sale of our house in BS7, and they were absolutely phenomenal. Even with pandemic restrictions, they organised a great run of viewings, negotiating a great sale within 8 days of listing and then helped us all they way through the rest of the process. Our Estate Agent, Hebe, even then attended our propery when the buyer wanted to have a specialist inspector look at the roof to make sure we were comfortable and well represented whilst the work was done; which we feel without a shadow of a doubt helped resolve the query and kept the sale alive and on to completion. If we ever have to move again we would use M&A in an absolute heartbeat and are already recommending them to our friends who are looking to move.

When looking for a house Maggs and Allen provided us with many options and contacted us as soon as a suitable house came to them, allowing us to see it and get in before it went to market. When making offers and negotiating, they didn't make it stressful or turn it into a bidding war with other perspective buyers. The communication was fantastic and they were very upfront and honest with us about our offers and gave good advice.

We didn't feel pushed into anything or put under pressure, obviously they are impartial but it really felt like they were working for us and on our side! After selling three properties and buying through other agents I would say this has been the most professional experience I've encountered and most importantly stress free. I would definitely recommend for a professional yet personal experience with buying/selling or letting a property.
