We can give you help and advice in connection with both commercial and domestic tenancies, whether you are a Landlord or Tenant. We can draft and consider commercial leases and advise on security of tenure and interpretation of lease provisions. We can prepare domestic tenancy agreements ( "Shorthold Tenancies" ) and advise on and prepare the statutory notices which bring them to an end. Many private landlords find to their cost that they have not complied with the strict requirements of the law, rendering notices invalid.
We know that buying or selling a property can be stressful. At Sleigh & Son you are not a number! We offer a professional but friendly and approachable service and we always ensure that our clients are treated as individuals. What is Probate? When a person dies, someone has to deal with their financial affairs. This is called "administering the estate". We realise this is a stressful time and we aim to offer a sympathetic and practical approach. It is important to find out at an early stage whether the deceased person left a Will, as this will usually specify who is entitled to administer the estate, as well as stating who is to inherit the assets. What if I don't make a Will? If there is no Will, (known as dying "intestate") the process is more complicated.
Why should I make a Will? According to latest statistics, each year 250,000 people die without leaving a Will. Many of the people we advise are extremely surprised to learn what would happen to their assets if they died without a will. For example, married couples often assume that their assets would automatically pass to their surviving spouse.

Worst company, avoid it. Rude and unprofessional. They make you feel that they are doing you a favour for talking to you. My reply to your response. I was not registered as a buyer because your staff didn't care to register me. I called you to purchase a property! Your staff was rude/very nasty attitude, carless and unprofessional. Avoid this company at all cost, there are so many better ones out there

Excellent service from the estate agent and the solicitor Zara, cannot thank you all enough for the smooth process of selling our house and buying another property. Having emailed to inquire about a property advertised, as requested by this agent. I received no response back. So I decided I'd try ringing them.only to be spoken too by an extremely rude woman on the phone. who then barked at me that I need to email them. and did I know how many emails they have received and have to answer! I explained I had done that and received no response and was interested in this property. we will get back to you she barked. guess what? they haven't! If this is how you speak to prospective clients I think I will go elsewhere!

After seeing the solicitor regarding to get power of attorney for my husband. Sorted. We get a phone call for me and my husband to go in and siqn the document then the solicitor was asking questions to my husband asking him why are you here.because he didn't understand with all the questions he was asking him he got very anxious. So the solicitor would not siqn the document.
He said you will have to pay for a GP to siqn. Then we get a letter saying the GP.probably wouldn't siqn it. So it was a sad experience in that office that day.bad experience for me and my husband. He has Alzheimer's dementia so we got no help because he didn't answer the questions

Amazing service! From the initial phone call saying we were wanting to sell our house to completion, these ladies have been great, nothing has been too much trouble.
