Had a superb buying experience with Ms Hena Tariq of Foxtons Wapping Estate Agents. She was very professional, responsive and excellent in her follow ups. Her knowledge of the UK Real Estate industry and guidance was invaluable for a new immigrant like to successfully conclude a purchase. I can't speak for Foxtons as a whole, as we ended up choosing another property, but this review is to thank Hena for her excellent customer service. We saw a number of properties with Hena this past weekend and she was the most attentive and responsive agent we met during our search. She did a phenomenal job of helping us view properties between Canary Wharf, Isle of Dogs and Wapping even managing to get access for properties that are not usually shown during weekends. Unfortunately we choose to go with another flat that was not represented by her office, but when we are in the market again, we will definitely reach out to her! Thank you :

I cannot rave enough about fabulous Nneka has been in my flat search. Despite giving her really difficult criteria, she was able to find me several properties, and she accompanied me to each one fully equipped with the notes on each place and prepared for any question. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and truthfully I really enjoyed visiting properties with her as she's a lovely, lovely girl, incredibly patient and a great laugh (and a very good driver!). She came across so invested in my search, was very professional and also just the friendliest estate agent I've ever had the pleasure to deal with. Thank you so much, Nneka!

Have to say that my first experience with Foxtons has been absolutely fantastic! From the moment I registered my interest in renting a property within the Foxtons Wapping zone, Andrea was quick to give me a call and guide me through the whole process. Any questions/concerns I had were responded to swiftly and took away any anxiety I had about renting my first property. Even the after care has been amazing! Thank you for a great experience

They promise us a clean property but they gave us a flat totally infested by cockroaches, in a very bad conditions, unfit for human living. Even in the inventory check there is a pic with a cockroaches. They decline every responsability and when I said that based on the contract the property had to be perfectly clean (professional cleaning) and fit for live they answered me that I could let the flat in the same condition at the end of the contract.

Just about as bad as it can get! I rented my apartment in Limehouse for two months while I was away via Foxtons to a corporate client. It was trouble from day 1. I had specifically said "No smoking". I was smugly told: "Don't worry madam none of our tenants are allowed to smoke". On the first day my tenant moved in I had to go and collect some stuff and it stank of smoke.
They had clearly not told the tenant of the rules. I was charged a check in and check out fee. Which included lots of detailed photos of my place and details of the contents. Despite considerable damage to two saucepans and awful stains on my hardwood ash floor including photos on the check out form to prove it. The tenant refused to pay and Foxtons told me I should speak to the tenant myself.
Apparently any damage is NOTHING to do with them. What exactly do Foxtons think a managed service is? Eventually after about 30 emails and several calls Foxtons sent "their expert" round to review the damage. Not only did he quote 895 to fix it but he said the floor was laminate. What sort of an expert was he? I eventually found a quote for 100 GBP which did not completely fix the problem but made it bearable without having to have part of my floor replaced.
This went on and on and on with the company who rented the place and the tenant refusing to pay and Foxtons saying it was nothing to do with them. Eventually I threatened to take them to court. Finally they coughed up. I would never use Foxtons again. Their staff are rude, limited, will say anything including not telling the truth to get the deal. Clearly have no understanding of the service they offer and have no desire to deliver a service past taking your money.
